The Bastet Collective journey began with the heartfelt desire to truly support parents during the rollercoaster ride of parenthood. Founded by Paula, an Aussie mum with 2 beautiful children, our mission is simple: to provide thoughtfully curated gifts and products that don’t just look pretty on a shelf, but actually serve a purpose for parents. Whether they’re bringing home their first brand-new bebe or experienced mums and dads that need to stock up on the essentials for bubs arrival.

Before I became a parents, like many others, I showed up to baby showers and new baby visits with gifts I thought were lovely, but in hindsight, were often just cute trinkets that ended up collecting dust in the corner. We’ve all been there, right? Those well-meaning gifts that look great, but aren’t exactly what a new mum or dad really need at 2 a.m. on a Tuesday morning. Now, that I’ve been through pregnancy, labour and new born life, I kinda cringe at how much I didn’t know or understand what mums and dads really need or want in those first few months.

That’s where The Bastet Collective comes in. Our collections have been created with one clear focus: to curate gifts that parents not only want, but need, and may not even know they need until they’re facing the realities of sleepless nights and endless feeds.
