• Wet bag or nappy bucket (for used nappies)

• Gentle, fragrance-free detergent

Step-by-Step: How to Use Bastet Bottoms

1. Pre-Wash Your Nappies

Before first use, wash your nappies and inserts 1–3 times to increase absorbency. No need to soak – just a warm machine wash will do.

2. Assemble Your Nappy

• Slide the insert into the pocket (or lay it on top, depending on your baby’s needs).

• Add a liner if using – makes cleanup easier.

• Adjust the snaps for a snug but comfy fit around the waist and legs.

3. Time for a Change

Change every 2–4 hours, or sooner if soiled. Add extra boosters for overnight use. Used nappies go into your wet bag or dry pail until washing time.

4. Washing Your Bastet Bottoms

• Pre-rinse: Short cold cycle (no detergent).

• Main wash: Long warm cycle (40–60°C) with detergent.

• Dry: Inserts can go in the dryer (low heat). Nappy covers dry best on the line or air-dried inside.

Avoid fabric softeners, bleach, or heavy-duty stain removers.
